8th Annual Cleveland Plane Pull

THIS JUST IN: Our friends at the Cleveland Browns have an exciting opportunity for you! All members of the top fundraising team in the 2017 Cleveland lane Pull will be invited to enjoy a VIP experience at the Browns' training camp! The top fundraising team will be determined by the conclusion of the Plane Pull on Saturday so keep on bringing in that money and check out the valuable fundraising resources that are available to all participants in the left-hand column of this page!


Join us on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the I-X Center at Atlantic Aviation for the 8th Annual Cleveland Plane Pull to benefit Special Olympics Ohio. This event is the ultimate test of strength! It will challenge teams of up to 20 to see how fast they can pull a plane. This event is hosted by Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.


Want to Participate?
Form a team of up to 20 and have all participants register online. Teams are required to raise a minimum of $750 to participate. Each participant can set up a fundraising page to help collect donations.

Plane Pull Information
Each team will receive a practice pull to warm up and one official pull for time. Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams in each category: Men's, Co-Ed (Co-Ed teams must have at least eight women), Public Safety (Public Safety teams must have at least ten members from the Public Safety sector), and the Women's Division (all members must be female). All members of the top team in each category will receive medals. Additional prizes will be given to the top fundraisers and all participants get an official 2017 CLE Plane Pull t-shirt. This is a family-friendly event so bring everyone out to the runway to cheer you on. Enjoy food, fun, and kids (ages 6-14) will even have a chance to participate in their own Plane Pull!

Registration and Check-In Information
All Team Captains must make sure that their team is registered online by Tuesday, June 27, 2017. All participants are asked to register online. Teams may register up until the day of the event but we wont be able to guarantee a shirt for your team the day of the event.

Team Captains will be responsible for turning in their team roster by Tuesday, June 27, 2017 (to ensure that all participants get shirts). Team captains are also responsible for turning in signed waivers for ALL participants, all offline donations, and for picking up the team's t-shirts and wristbands. All team captains must attend either Early Check-In on Thursday, July 13th from 5-7 p.m. at West Park Station or Check-In/Registration the day of event.
