The 4th Annual Cedar Point Polar Bear Plunge will take place on Saturday,February 7, 2009. Plungers are asked to raise a "bear" minimum of $75 to participate. Last year this event raised over $25,000 for Special Olympics Ohio. Join the fun and help us to raise more money for the deserving Special Olympics athletes in Ohio. The Cedar Point plunge is one of eight Polar Bear Plunge fundraising events in Ohio througout the months of January - March, 2009.
Avoid the lines and join us for Pre-Registration on Friday, February 6 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. at the Thirsty Pony.
Registrationa and the plunge will take place at Cedar Point on the beach next to the Breaker's Hotel. A Post-Plunge party will be held at the TGI Friday's on the causeway. The party is free for plungers and a $10 guest fee for spectators.
