The 13th annual Sandusky Polar Plunge will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Sandusky, Ohio. The event is one of eight Ohio Polar Plunges to be held throughout winter. All proceeds from these events directly support and benefit the 26,000 athletes of Special Olympics Ohio.

Event Schedule:

Early Check-In/Registration Avoid the lines on Plunge day and join us for Early Check-In at the Thirsty Pony (1935 Cleveland Road, Sandusky, 44870).1/26/2018 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Check-In/Registration in The Thirsty Pony's banquet room. All participants must check in either Friday night or Saturday morning to get their wristbands and shirts, to turn in pledges raised off-line, and collect incentive prizes.1/27/2018 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Opening Ceremonies and Costume Contest.1/27/2018 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm
Plunge!1/27/2018 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Post-Plunge Party in The Thirsty Pony's banquet room. Free food and soft drinks will be available. Party is free for plungers and $10 for guests. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising individuals and teams.1/27/2018 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Fees:
Plunger: No Fees
Raise a minimum of $75 and get ready to be Freezin for a Reason.

Student Plunger: No Fees
Raise a minimum of $50 and get ready to be Freezin for a Reason. *Must be between 8 and 22 years of age.

Too Chicken to Plunge: No Fees
Not taking the Plunge, but still raising money for the event. Must raise a minimum of $30 to receive a Too Chicken to Plunge t-shirt.
