The 12th Annual Law Enforcement Polar Bear Plunge will be held Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. Plungers are asked to raise a "bear" minimum of $100 to participate. Last year this event raised over $100,000 for Special Olympics Ohio. Join the fun and help us to raise more money for the deserving Special Olympics athletes in Ohio. The Law Enforcement Polar Bear Plunge is weekend long event. Check out the schedule of all of the surrounding actvities. The Law Enforcement Polar Bear plunge is one of nine Polar Bear Plunge fundraising events in Ohio througout the months of January - March, 2008.
Hotel accomodations are available at the Geneva-on-the-Lake Conference Center. Plungers are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. Reservations can be made by calling the lodge at 440.466.7100 and specifying that you are with the Polar Bear Plunge.
Win A Harley at the Law Enforcement Polar Bear Plunge. A XL 883C Sporter for her and a XL 1200C Sportster for him will be raffled off as a package complete with trailer. Raffle is limited to 5,000 tickets. Winner must title the bikes. The raffle for the bikes and trailer will be held on the beach at 1:30 p.m. at Geneva State Park. There is a
$10 donation for each raffle ticket.
